    1. Thanks for the link. I'm just getting started for this season, and saw their listings for the preview starting 7/14. I'll definitely use this info and add to the schedule. Thanks!

  2. Stealing Christmas with Tony Danza has not been shown in years. Why?

    1. I'm not sure, but if & when it does air, you'll find it here first. Just hit CTRL+F to bring up a search, and type in Stealing Christmas. More Christmas movies will be airing each week through Christmas.

  3. I just wanted to say thank you so much for doing this!! Since discovering your site a few years ago I check in every day during the holiday season. The fact that you list all Christmas and holiday specials, episodes, and movies, as opposed to just the "must see" things, is greatly appreciated. I hope you and yours have a wonderful and blessed holiday season!

  5. Thanks a bunch for your list! I'll be sure to add this with the others since not all lists provide full info. Happy Holidays to you and yours 🎄

  6. christmastvschedule.com does not include (all) Lifetime or Ion Television holiday movies.

Lifetime channel (not Lifetime Movie channel) will broadcast Christmas movies on:
    Saturdays (11/25 - 12/16) from 1 pm until 5 am Sunday
Sunday 11/26 from 11 am until 5 am Monday morning
    http://www.mylifetime.com/schedule

Ion Television is broadcasting Christmas movies on each Saturday and Sunday from 8 am until 2 am starting November 26 (including Christmas Day):
https://iontelevision.com/holiday-movies (click on the "Schedule" tab to the right of the "Holiday Movies" tab)

    1. You are correct. We used to include Lifetime's schedule, but found that they change their schedule often, sometimes the day prior. So it caused a lot of editing. Instead, I have listed their schedule URL at the top of the page for people to check if they want to see Lifetime's movies. Thank you for the Ion link, I'll check it out.

  7. I love this list!! But I noticed there MeTV isn't included. Not sure where you are located so that station may not be available to you but every Sunday they do a Christmas block that started on Nov 12th and some of the shows holiday episodes have been playing during the week as well.

  8. I love this list!! However MeTV has an awesome Christmas lineup. They are doing blocks on Sundays that started from Nov 12th. I know the station isn't available to everyone but it's great to catch some of the old tv Christmas specials!

  10. No Albert Finney version of Scrooge? OR Scrooged? Wth

    1. We just report the schedule, we don't set it. Don't shoot the messenger. But check back often. Channels announce their broadcasts 2 weeks out, and we only report out 1 week ahead (except for certain channels we have out through Christmas already). So it's likely it'll air closer to Christmas. Finally, Scrooged is listed several times.

  11. Inspiration network has some specials, and unlike Get TV, are available in HD. http://www.insp.com/blog/insp-christmas-schedule/

  12. Have you heard if NBC will air the Buddy the Elf Musical that they’ve shown in the past?

    ReplyDelete

    1. I haven't heard yet. I'm thinking they will, but I can only see 14 days out, and it's not listed yet. Cannot find any news about NBC Christmas/Holiday programming.

  13. I am wondering if Elf cartoon musical will be shown also. Disappointed again with Cartoon Network/Boomarang. They used to show the Smurf Christmas Specials, Yogi's First Christmas, Flintstones Christmas Carol, Nutcracker Scooby, Tom & Jerry's night before Christmas, Jonny Bravo Night before Christmas or Christmas in Pacland. Nothing. The management for those networks suck. They have only gotten worse in the past few years.

    1. I searched the listings (now populated through Christmas, I just haven't caught up yet on my schedule), and see nothing for Buddy the Musical (cartoon with the voice of Jim Parsons). I'm with you on Cartoon Network/Boomerang. I also searched Boomerang and don't see much at all! I'm hoping they're just late releasing their schedule because I look forward to the Smurfs, Flintstones, and Pac-Man Christmas specials every year!

    2. In the past they would have already shown a few of these a couple times already. They have the rights to Scooby but show the same movies and rotate them every few weeks. Something fishy is going on as they have the rights to Dexter & Powerpuff girls and haven't shown those specials either.

  14. Any chance you've seen Yogi's First Christmas pop up yet on Boomerang or elsewhere? They usually add it last minute...

    1. Not yet. As discussed right above your comment, I'm not seeing much for Boomerang at all. Literally 5 episodes total of Tom & Jerry and Peanuts have the word Christmas in their description from now through Christmas day. I'm hoping you're right and they post their listings last minute.

    2. Here's hoping. Won't be the same w/o Christmas at the Jellystone lodge and watching it on DVD feels like cheating. Thanks so much.

  15. It's funny that you can watch Home Alone all year long yet it Christmas time it's only on premium channels. Also I could not find the movie Jack Frost with Michael Keaton. I always liked that one. This is a great site and I appreciate the time that it takes to put it together. Thank you!

  16. See any listings for king of kings or greatest story ever told?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Just did a search (haven't populated next week yet) and saw King of Kings (1961) on TCM next Sat 12/23 at 5pm Eastern. Nothing for Greatest Story Ever Told.

  17. Great list but missing The Sound of Music (apparently a christmas movie now but I'm happy with it) and Elf shouldn't be included since Freeform shows it daily.

    1. We list every Christmas show/movie we can find, regardless of the frequency it airs.

    2. We tend to leave off "family movies" that air during Christmas, like The Sound of Music, Harry Potter, Toy Story, and Willy Wonka. :) I can add it if you'd like.

    1. I agree! I loved that special and can't figure out why one of the many channels that show Christmas specials wouldn't want to pick it up. I also miss the sweetness of Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too ... But it hasn't been played in many years.

I love that you include everything, even TV shows from the past that did Christmas episodes. I just wanted to say Thank You, because this site is part of the tradition of our holidays. Have a fantastic 2018 and we'll see you again this October!!!
